Wigton Lane, Leeds LS17 8SA
Welcome to the ultimate golf day!
Forget what you've heard about other golf days, this extraordinary event is your chance to witness the art of possible.
Hosted at one the of the most prestigious golf courses in the world, we're pulling out all of the stops to create a truly unforgettable event that delivers the highest quality technology, branding and hospitality.
The XSEM Golf Day is all about bringing people together for a fun, exciting and memorable day. Don't miss out!
Alwoodley Golf Club is regarded as one of Britain’s finest inland courses. Designed by the great Dr Alister MacKenzie, it was his first project on his journey to becoming the world's most distinguished golf course architect and designer of the Augusta National, Cypress Point and Royal Melbourne. It is known as the original MacKenzie.
This heathland course is simply stunning, challenging but fair and sometimes brutal! Always immaculate, it is no surprise that it is regularly chosen to host The Open qualification and in 2019 will play host to the English Amateur Championship, the Brabazon.
We love it here at XSEM and we are sure that you are going to as well.
Pairs Stableford competition. It’s going to be competitive on the course with lots of big prizes to play for. As well as the usual longest drive and nearest the pin competitions we have created some fun challenges to keep it interesting for everybody.
No cheats please! The XSEM Golf Day is a fun day for charity so handicap certificates will not be required. Please make sure to play off the correct number. Max handicap is 24.
There will be a shotgun start at 13:00. All players should be at their designated starting hole 10 minutes prior to start. Starting holes will be confirmed at registration. On the course there will be a selection of refreshments and treats throughout the day.
You know the drill - suitable golfing attire is required during the day. No jeans, trainers or collarless shirts. Dinner will be a relaxed BBQ so a jacket are not required.
Michael is a leader in the world of performance coaching and sports psychology and is a long-established friend of XSEM. We are absolutely delighted that he will be joining us for the XSEM golf day to share insights into peak performance and stories of how he helped Wigan win the FA Cup and Darren Clarke win the Open. It’s fascinating stuff and all delivered in a very light hearted and fun way.
Having worked in performance psychology since 1991, Michael has helped people from all walks of life achieve their goals and benefit from positive change. His clients represent blue chip companies as well as the police, fire and education authorities. He has also worked in the elite sports arena in golf, cricket, rugby and football.

Prizes and sponsors
We’ll have some fun and innovative challenges on course with prizes donated by our generous sponsors.
Refreshments will be provided by our generous on course sponsors so we have made sure you will all be well fed and watered during the round.
We hope you enjoy this amazing day and would be very grateful if you can support our chosen charity, Bloomin Yorkshire.
We’re proud supporters of Bloomin Yorkshire, an amazing charity who raise awareness and funding for organ donation and kidney research.
Bloomin Yorkshire was set up by a close and personal friend of ours after she lost a dear friend and fellow dialysis patient. Speaking of that moment, she said:
“The very day Tony passed away the first white rose bloomed in my garden, he was such a proud Yorkshire man and it was like a sign. I just knew that I could use the Yorkshire Rose, a symbol of our great County, to spread the joy and positivity I feel about life and where I live no matter what life’s challenges bring.”
Kidney disease is a silent killer.
There are three million people in the UK with it right now and there is no cure.
The average lifespan for a dialysis patient is six years
Around 1,000 people in the UK die each year whilst waiting for an organ transplant, that’s three people every day
One organ donor can save eight lives and enhance the lives of more than 50 people.
